Ingredients - All recipes for a 60 lbs. dog
  • 3 pounds diced chicken (you can also use turkey or beef)
  • 2 cups uncooked rice
  • 64 ounces unsalted broth (chicken or beef, to cook rice)
  • 2 cans black beans
  • 4 bell peppers
  • 12 ounces corn
  • 1 cup shredded low-fat cheese
  • 1 package(s) grain-free taco shells (optional)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (optional)
  • Supplements (optional, see FAQs for more info)
Instructions
  1. Cook Rice

Prepare the rice as directed on the package using the broth instead of water. Once it's ready, set it aside and allow it to cool while you complete the next steps.

Add in supplements and combine if using.
  2. Cook Peppers and Meat

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté diced bell peppers for 4-6 minutes.

Add the meat chopped up and sauté until well cooked. Drain oil if any. Place into a bowl and set aside, allowing to cool.

  3. Cook Beans and Corn

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Pour in drained beans and corn. Add diced tomatoes here if using.

Cover and cook for 7-10 minutes. Place into a bowl and set aside, allowing to cool.

  4. Heat Taco Shells

If using taco shells, heat according to package.

  5. Combine and Serve

Ensure the food has cooled enough and serve. Sprinkle the cheese on top. Either build a taco or combine in a bowl.
