Ingredients - All recipes for a 60 lbs. dog
  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillets, deboned and skinless
  • 2 large potatoes, washed, peeled, and diced
  • 1 cup green beans, washed and chopped (Feel free to use a frozen steamable package too!)
  • 1 carrot, peeled and grated
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 2 cups water or low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cooked organs-optional (see FAQs for more info)
  • Supplements-optional (see FAQs for more info)
Instructions
  1. Prep the Salmon

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through. Let it cool, then flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Cook the Potatoes

In a pot, bring water or vegetable broth (optional) to a boil. Add diced potatoes and cook until they are tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  3. Prepare the Vegetables

In a separate pot, steam or boil the chopped green beans until they are tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes. You can also use a frozen steamable bag too, follow instructions on package.

  4. Cook Brown RicePrepare the rice as directed on the package. Once it's ready, set it aside and allow it to cool while you complete the next steps.
  5. Combine IngredientsIn a large mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, cooked potatoes, steamed green beans, grated carrot, and cooked brown rice. Mix well to ensure an even distribution of ingredients.
  6. Serve

Serve: Allow the mixture to cool before serving it to your furry friend. Portion out the meal based on your dog's size and dietary needs.

Storage:Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. You can also freeze portions for longer storage.
