Description

Packed with omega-3 fatty acids for a shiny coat and a healthy heart, these patties are a flavorful fusion of wild-caught salmon and tuna, ensuring your furry friend gets a taste of the ocean in every bite. Baked to paw-fection, these patties are a crunchy delight that will have your canine companion begging for more.

Ingredients - All recipes for a 60 lbs. dog
  • 24 ounces canned tuna
  • 14.75 ounces canned salmon
  • 1/2 cup frozen or canned peas (low or no sodium)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella is great)
  • 1/4 cup almond flour or breadcrumbs
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for pan)
Instructions
  1. Heat Pan

Heat a pan over medium heat with olive oil.

  2. Combine Ingredients

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir vigorously. Be sure the egg is beat and the canned tuna and salmon is shredded.

I recommend frozen peas. If using frozen peas, toss them in the microwave with a tablespoon of water for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Make Patties

Make a ball of the ingredients roughly the size of a plum or a peach. Smush in the shape of a hamburger.IMG_0011 3

  4. Cook and Flip

Cook the patties over medium heat and olive oil for roughly 4-6 minutes on each side.

Set on a plate and allow to cool thoroughly before serving. I like to break up into pieces before placing in my pup's bowl. I also like to feed them a small piece first so they understand what it is and how amazing it is!
