Ingredients - All recipes for a 60 lbs. dog
  • 1/2 cup Plain Greek yogurt (Unsweetened and without additives)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped or mashed sweet potato
  • 1/4 cup Dog-friendly granola (Ensure it does not contain harmful ingredients like raisins, chocolate, or artificial sweeteners)
  • 2 tablespoons Natural peanut butter (Xylitol-free and without additives)
  • A handful Blueberries (Can be fresh or frozen (heat up a bit if frozen))
Instructions
  1. Prepare Sweet Potato

    Wash, peel, and dice the sweet potato. Steam or microwave the sweet potato until it's soft and mashable. (I personally love the streamable bags to save time!). Allow it to cool.

  2. Mash or Chop Sweet Potato

    Mash the cooked sweet potato until you achieve a smooth consistency. You can also chop into bite-size pieces. Set aside

  3. Layer the Parfait
    1. Begin by layering the ingredients in a small dog-friendly dish or cup. Start with a spoonful of yogurt as the base.
    2. Add a layer of mashed sweet potato on top of the yogurt.
    3. Drizzle a bit of peanut butter over the sweet potato layer.
    4. Sprinkle a layer of dog-friendly granola over the peanut butter.
    5. Add a handful of fresh blueberries.
    6. Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the dish, finishing with a dollop of yogurt on the top.

    Optional Toppings:

    If desired, drizzle a small amount of honey over the top for added sweetness. Ensure the honey is safe for dogs.

    Garnish with small dog biscuits or treats for an extra special touch.
