Doggy Spaghetti and Meatballs

A paw-some culinary masterpiece that combines dog-safe pasta with savory, dog-approved meatballs. Delight in the joy of creating a meal that not only satisfies your pup's cravings but also turns mealtime into a pawsitively palatable experience!
- 2 pounds ground turkey and/or beef (I like to mix and match)
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 2 eggs
- 4 pinches chopped dog-safe herbs and spices (basil, oregano, turmeric)
- 1/4 cup chopped organs-optional (see FAQs for more info)
- supplements-optional (see FAQs for more info)
- 8 ounces lentil or chickpea spaghetti pasta
- 8 ounces low-fat shredded cheese
- 4 ounces olive oil
- chopped dog-safe herbs and spices (basil, oregano)
- 1 cup squash and/or zuchinni (cooked and mashed)
- Preheat Oven
Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
Line two baking sheets with wax paper and coat with oil.
- Combine Ingredients
Combine all meatball ingredients in a large bowl and combine well.
- Form Meatballs
Form into balls a little smaller than a golf ball. and place at least two inches apart on the baking sheets.
- Bake and Cool
Bake meatballs for 20 minutes total, flipping meatballs over after ten minutes.
Ensure internal temperature is above 165 degrees.
Set aside and allow to cool.
- Cook and Mash Squash
Heat a pan over medium-high heat with olive oil.
Chop squash/zucchini and cook until fork-tender.
Mash or process in a food processor.
Place in a large bowl where you will add other ingredients and pasta later.
- Cook SpaghettiCook spaghetti according to packaging. Drain and then add to large bowl with mashed squash.
- Combine all IngredientsCombine all spaghetti ingredients and combine well. Cheese should melt as the noodles will still be hot.
- Cool and ServeAllow all ingredients to cool and then combine and serve.
