Instructions

  1. Cook Chicken

Heat your oven to 400 degrees.

Place your chicken on an oven sheet. You can halve the breasts/thighs if you want to cook them faster.

Set it and forget it for about an hour. Chicken should be at least 165ºF and then it is ready. You can complete the next two steps while the chicken is cooking.

  2. Cook Brown Rice

Prepare the rice as directed on the package. Once it's ready, set it aside and allow it to cool while you complete the next steps.

  3. Heat the Broccoli

If you are using a frozen microwave bag, then this step should be easy and you will just follow steps on the bag and microwave it.

If you. opted for fresh broccili, then 1) Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat, 2) Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

  4. Chop the Chicken

Once the chicken has finished cooking, allow it to cool. Once cooled chop it up into bite size pieces. I personally love using a food processor for this!

  5. Combine and Serve

Combine the chicken, broccoli, and brown rice together in a bowl and combine. You can stir to loosely combine, or use a potato masher to make it super smooth.

Note: If you are adding supplements or organ meat, now is the time to add those.

Ensure the meal has cooled enough and serve!
