Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare the Apple Mixture

In a bowl, combine the diced apples, unsweetened applesauce, and ground cinnamon. Mix well.

Sauté (Optional): For added flavor, you can sauté the apple mixture in a non-stick pan over low heat for 3-5 minutes. Allow it to cool.

  3. Mix with Granola

In a separate bowl, combine the sautéed or raw apple mixture with dog-friendly granola.

  4. Add the Eggs and Peanut Butter

Crack two eggs and peanut butter into the mixture and stir until well combined. This helps bind the ingredients.

  5. Form Treats

Scoop portions of the mixture and shape them into small treats, placing them on the prepared baking sheets.

  6. Bake and Cool

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the treats turn golden brown and have a firm texture.

Cool: Allow the treats to cool completely on wire racks before serving.

Note

Ensure all ingredients are dog-friendly, free from harmful additives like xylitol, chocolate, or artificial sweeteners.
