Instructions

  1. Combine Meat and Yogurt
Mix together the yogurt and ground lamb in a medium bowl.
  2. Form Balls
Roll meat and yogurt combination into small balls, roughly the size of ping pong balls. Wet hands for easier handling.
  3. Heat Pan
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  4. Cook Meatballs
Place meatballs in a single layer and cook for 5-7 minutes, flip frequently. Add 2-3 Tablespoons of water and place the lid on the skillet and cook the meatballs until they're thoroughly cooked, typically for another 2-3 minutes. Set aside an allow to cool.
  5. Cook Rice
Prepare the rice as directed on the package. Use the unsalted beef broth instead of water. Use a 1:20 ratio (1 cup rice to 2 cups broth). Once it's ready, set it aside and allow it to cool while you complete the next step.
  6. Cook Green Beans
Heat green beans according to package.  Cool and combine with rice.
  7. Combine and Serve
Pour the rice/green bean mixture into the serving bowl (dog bowl). Feel free to add additional unsalted broth and supplements at this time, and stir. Add the meatballs on top and serve!
If you want to be EXTRA, whip together a greek dipping sauce to pour on top. Mix 2 Tablespoons of greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon dill, 1 Tablespoon of olive oil.
